Joseph Urich and David White, head instructors of The Traditional Martial Arts Society, will be presenting a martial workshop Saturday August 23rd in the TMAS dojo at 5738 Baum Blvd. Individuals from all styles are welcome. The workshop will focus on ground controls of the Hito Ryu. The workshop will take place from from 10:30am to 1pm. Admission is $30.
Aiki Jujutsu is a classical Japanese martial art focusing on using an attacker's energy to apply arm locks, throws, chokes, and strikes against the attacker. Mr. Urich and Mr. White each have over 20 years progressive training in Hito Ryu and both hold mokuroku (4th degree black belt) ranking in all martial arts of the system.
